Mandy Sherman Spisak is an enamelist. Enameling is the art of glass fired onto metal. Enamel is a granulated glass that is applied to precious metals such as copper, gold or silver. Mandy's work is retro inspired. She uses up-cycled items such as cabinet doors, cutting boards and other items as backdrops to her original enamels.
The Retro Revival studio also restores antiques, specializing in retro refrigerators. Refrigerators from 1950 and earlier are customized and refinished to look brand new.
The studio is located in Cleveland, Ohio. Find artwork at local independent craft fairs and upscale flea markets. Mandy's work is also represented by Gretchen's Gallery in Chautauqua, New York during the summer. Check the events page for the upcoming show schedule.
